James Grant should be required reading for high school and college.

Maybe it is just me, but Grant's witty comments are hilarious. Very much worth the price for the entertainment. More pearls than swine.

A great book by Mr. Grant. A collection of his insights from his investment letter. Interesting travel in time.

Useful history because it records what many people were thinking as financial history unfolded.

A series of vignettes from the early 80s to the early 90s. I love these "time capsule" books.Grant is a good author, and he is bearish, which is instinctually satisfying for most creatures.

Weighing in at under 70 pages for $19.95 isn't much value. It can be forgiven somewhat given the likely small distribution of this book - or if it fit into a total framework for Qualitative Research Methods as a couple chapters. I'd love to see all the volumes of that put together into one website or book and sold for a more reasonable price.McCracken does an excellent job summarizing the gathering and use of qualitative research through the long interview, including comparisons between quantitative and qualitative data, the pre-interview research process, formulating questions, and finally, the interview process. I would have liked to see more focus on the interview process, along with more do's and don't.This book was written at the scholarly level, which makes it somewhat obtuse for those not well-vested in the terminology (including myself). As an aspiring researcher and sometime interviewer at work, I'd like a more straightforward approach.In all, it covers the topic well, but only for those already familiar with it. For someone looking for practical advice on long interviews, I don't think this is the book.

This is a five-star work! It reads well, Prof. McCracken has a smooth and elegant style: Information is abundant and presented in an easily-digestible way. The book should be on the compulsory list of all first-year (aspirant) qual researchers and on the 'highly-recommended' list of those who pursue quan studies.

As all of this artist books, this one is so beautiful. I purchased the one with the illustrations. These are beautiful drawings to color. I have gotten very positive comments on the pages I have colored in this book so far. I will be buying the other one that has two sets of each page in it also. The one with illustrations has beautiful borders already there and also the paper is fabulous. you will love the feel of the paper and how well the color goes down on it. I highly recommend this book

I have several grayscale coloring books and enjoy them greatly, but I obviously didn't realize this book has all kinds of weird pictures that don't appeal to me. Not worth the cost of returning, so I threw it away.

The Artist has outdone herself in this new book. Each picture amazing. I would highly recommend this book.
